Wisdom teeth, Heroes of Asgard, Mantis

So I got a pretty bad head infection after having two of my widom teeth removed. I'm still not over it.

I should probably post about some of the project I worked on while I was learning to use the cintiq. I got a copy of a book I loved as a kid off of e-bay, Heroes of Asgard by AE Keary...and started animating Tank Abbott as Thor:

I was having trouble animating Captain Capitalism stuff, so I thought I would learn faster animating something I did not care about and did not have to use.

I should also probably address Captain Capitalism getting named checked in the Cartoon Brew EcoZone/Ripping Friends debacle.

But instead, I am going to take some more Tylenol 3, and post some pictures my wife took when we went kayaking a couple of weeks ago.

Mandy is really into the kayaking on Town Lake here in Austin. It is quite a bit of fun.

These geese attacked us a few minutes after this picture. No shit. I had to beat them off with an oar. I felt ridiculous, but asked some other folks around and apparently this happens all the time.

Also, out of the 300 Mantids that hatched, I have 3 left...this is another story for another blog too, but while I am high on pain killers, thought I would past some of this just to generally confuse people.
