Dress like Brad day
The day before Halloween, was ostensibly "Dress Like Brad" day at the Powerhouse Animation Studios offices. I didn’t get the memo, but luckily I am Brad. So I was, (apparently predictably so), dressed appropriately for the day. Some of you may remember "Dress Like Frank" day
from last year.

If you like, you can play where is Waldo, trying to find the real Brad in the crowd.

So, allegedly, here is the formula for being me:
1. black rimmed glasses
2. sports coat
3. super hero print t-shirt that does not match said sports coat, preferably with Captain America.
4. jeans
5. black shoes
6. A microwavable Lean Cuisine. (I do eat one for lunch almost everyday)
7. And for the purist, a band-aid on the chin (signifying the number of times I have had to leave work to get stitches this year. Keep in mind these injuries are not the results of my boxing or MMA classes but from really stupid accidents)
8. There was also a laugh that some were attempting to replicate. Kind of like a combination of inhaling, choking, and snorting. It sounded like a geek mating call. Which I guess, in a way it is.

We all went to lunch, the Brad’s and I. At one point, at the end of the table everyone was calling each other by my name, in effect sounding chirping baby birds peeping "Brad" to one another. It was darned funny.
There are days when animation production issues can be grueling, clients can test your will-power to not punch people, and co-owning a small business can be stressful. But there is never a day that I don’t just thank God that I work at a place with such a great and fun group of people.
We have truly been blessed in the folks that we have found at Powerhouse. Thanks for a fun day.
